Love

“In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed.
In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.” Exodus 15:13

God loves us and because of His great love for us, He will guide our future if we allow Him. He has a plan for us. Jeremiah 29:11  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” He will lead us into the correct “appointed, chosen” path for our lives.  We have a destiny, a purpose, a mission, a calling on our life. We are not just here on earth for the sake of being here. We may have been a surprise to our family, but we were never a surprise to God. He chose us to be here for such a time as this. You may wonder what am I suppose to do with my life? Maybe friends & family have given you advise or encouraged you to go a certain path but ultimately our path was chosen for us before we were born. God knows where we are to be & what we are to be doing. He has a plan- yet we have the choice to follow it or not. If we quiet ourselves, we can hear Him speaking to our hearts. (This is not an actual voice with our ears. but an inner voice He speaks to our hearts). He will give us the strength & endurance to accomplish our destiny. He has all the pieces of the puzzle of life but they are not usually revealed all at once, they are usually given to us one at a time. Proverbs 4:12  When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.  Are we going to trust him with each piece?

Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

God Loves you! He knew you before you were born. He knew you were going to be the special person you are. God’s great love for us surpasses any kind of human love we could ever experience. A parent’s love is probably the closest love we can compare to God’s love for us but it’s still completely different. God created us for His enjoyment & companionship. He loves us with an unconditional love greater than anything we could ever imagine. God’s love is not conditional- it does not depend on what we did or didn’t do. It does not depend on if we disappoint or please Him- it never loves less. His desire is to fellowship with us, to talk to us, and to speak to our hearts to commune with us. It may seem a little unnatural to consider at first, but we were created to commune (to communicate) with Him. Just like in the Garden of Eden God came & walked & talked with Adam & Eve. God’s closeness got limited in the Garden of Eden because of their sin & shame. We limit ourselves of communication with God because of our unrepented sin. All of us mess up. It does not surprise God; He knows we will mess up but that’s why he sent Jesus. Jesus’ blood was shed for our forgiveness. He was the perfect spotless sacrifice that was given for our sins. When we mess up, we need to ask for forgiveness. The Bible says God remembers them no more. God never loves us less because we mess up. Although our unrepented sin can clog up our communication with Him;  Making Him limited as to how we hear his voice. We will always be able to enjoy the love & fellowship of God as long as we continue to seek Him & not allow our “messing” up to hinder our communication. It’s never too late to repent and start anew.
